This event has already taken place
On Friday November 24th the Storyville Ragtimers present at the Red Jasper Cabaret Theater a great tribute to Louis Armstrong entitled "Black & Blue".
Duke Ellington said that if a man deserves to be called "Mr Jazz" he is none other than Louis Armstrong and not without reason, Pops, as his friends used to call him, lived a parallel life with this music, he was born with it and essentially within a decade he turned it from a popular music into a global phenomenon.
The Storyville Ragtimers will present a small historical retrospective from the beginning to the peak of his immense career.
