Back in 2007 nu metal was one of the dominant sounds of the decade. Few bands have dared to take their music on intense experimental paths, while keeping their metal character. One of them was born that year in Sydney. It was We Lost The Sea.

All the members of We Lost The Sea were friends with each other and had considerable musical experience. This allowed them to find their rhythm early on and start their artistic work. The album beautifully combines the calm moments with the metal outbursts, while the lyrics perfectly convey the climate of the Crimean war in the 19th century.

Their most recent work came out in October 2019 and is called Triumph & Disaster. Here a dystopian world is vividly described only through the power of the instruments, in a record that perfectly continues the instrumental identity chosen by We Lost The Sea already from their previous record.

In May 2023, the Australians will come to our country for the first time for an atmospheric live.
