Basecamp rock climbing school takes place in the mountains of Athens, the boulders of Meteora in Central Greece and the island of Kalymnos. Established in 2001 by the EOOA, instructor, and leader of the Greek team Mount Everest conquest Panagiotis Kotronaros, the school provides mountain sports training and adventure trips as well as tours to great summits around the globe (Great Summits World Tour). The rock climbing program has a duration of 9 days of theory and practice; and it is conducted 3 times a year, in spring (May & June), in autumn (September & October), and in the summer (July - August).
