The Goulandris Natural History Museum gives a chance to come into contact with the kingdom of plants and animals in order to learn about them in an understandable and scientifically processed format. The museum was founded by Angelos and Niki Goulandris in order to promote interest in the natural sciences, to raise the awareness of the public, in general, and in particular to call its attention to the need to protect Greece's natural wildlife habitats and species in the danger of extinction.
