To have an experience nearby water head to Marina Flisvos and Flisvos Park - one of the favorite places of Athenians', especially for those who have children (babies in particular), since its wide pier is idyllic for strolling and stopping for ice cream, coffee, etc., and is quite close to the pedestrian and green area filled with outdoor playgrounds. Those you who love family picnics can also head to the National Park with its many meeting points under the palm trees.

Stargazers and future astronauts should visit the 3-D 360-degree Planetarium of the Eugenides Foundation, presenting large-format shows and environmental documentaries projected on its 25-meter diameter dome. The Hellenic Cosmos Cultural Center is not a museum in the traditional sense, but if you are looking for a digital portrayal of Greek history via high technology and numerous series of informative exhibits for you and your family, this is the place with over 50,000 children visiting every year!
