Description

One of the oldest ministries in Greece is the Ministry of Justice, which was founded by Spyridon Trikoupi, the first government of the Kingdom of Greece, in January 1833. It replaced the State Secretariat for Justice of the Kapodistrian Government. In 2009, the Ministry of Justice was renamed the Ministry of Justice, Transparency and Human Rights.
