Description
This manor house is one of the most impressive buildings on Hydra Island. It was built at the end of the 18th century, in the time of the maritime prosperity of the island. Lazaros Koundouriotis was one of the most important personalities of Hydra. The politician lived from 1769 to 1852 and donated his ships, crew and all his money to support the Greek War of Independence.
