The Athens Marina (formerly named Faliro Marina) or else named the mega yacht mooring, was founded in June 2004. It was the Athens Marina, that hosted the yachts of VIP visitors to the 2004 Olympic Games.

During its operation, Athens Marina has hosted many of the largest and most popular mega and super yachts of Greece and worldwide fleet. The mega marina is located closely - 400 meters distance - to the Peace and Friendship Stadium, commonly known by it's acronym S.E.F., 9km away from the Athens city center, 5km from Piraeus and 40 km from the Athens International Airport (via the highway).

The Athens Marina has facilities of a helipad, cars & limousines rental & taxi services and direct access to both motorway and public transportation networks consisting of the tram, metro and buses / trolleys. The marina is designed to cater to the mooring needs of mega and super yachts. It has a mooring capacity of 130 yachts and can accommodate them up to 130m, with over 10 berths for mega yachts of 50m up to 100m and over 25 new berths for super yachts of 30m to 35m.

The Athens Marina is the ideal base to explore the more than 3.000 Greek islands, many of which are within leisurely sailing distance, such as the Cyclades and the Saronic islands. The marina has a 24-hour service and protection, a highly trained staff, but also a peaceful and beautiful natural environment. They have a personnel that is expertised and carefully selected, so that it provides individualized care, with discretion and professionalism.
