Old Picture of Erechtheio

This historical picture shows the the Erechtheio Temple, a part of the Acropolis in Athens.

The photo was taken between 1890 and 1900 and shows the badly damaged Erechtheio Temple on Acropolis Hill. It is very interesting that the Caryatids survived the time almost undamaged.
