A large part of the area around Vravrona is marshland - also called Wetland of Vravrona. This wetland biotope falls under the Natura 2000 network. Almost in the middle of Vravrona wetlands are the Archaeological Site of Vravrona and the Archaeological Muuseum of Vravrona found.
