Bebel Gilberto arrives on Saturday October 21 to dress up the main stage of Gazarte with Brazilian colors and exotic sounds!
With a worldwide fan following, especially after the release of Tanto Tempo in 2000, she has managed to put her own spin on today's bossa nova music, both with her vocals and her melancholic yet dreamy lyrical approach.
Dividing her time between Rio de Janeiro and New York, Bebel Gilberto has adopted musical elements from both cities, combining Brazilian rhythms with touches of electronic music. At the same time, she listens to great artists such as Debussy, Prince, Michel Legrand, Billie Holiday, Bjork, Gershwin, Donna Summer and Michael Jackson, which influence her and inspire her to create highly eclectic compositions herself.
