Hekla
World-renowned theremin performer Hekla Magnúsdóttir uses her instrument as an eerie and evocative siren call. Sometimes spectral tears, sometimes mournful screams, which as a second voice call for a soft vocal performance, as if her studio was haunted by a choir of ghosts.

Her debut album, titled Á, released by Phantom Limb, was written and recorded in her home studio in Berlin while she was caring for her newborn son. Returning to Iceland, her music continued with a musical theme of horror around glaciers, the mystical EP Sprungur, which developed into most of the 2022 album Xiuxiuejar.

One of the most active representatives of the Icelandic music scene, Hekla regularly receives accolades for her work in films and performs internationally, both solo and as part of major musical ensembles.

Kali Malone
American composer and sound artist Kali Malone's minimalist compositions for church organ, choir, chamber music ensembles and electro-acoustic arrangements have captivated audiences around the world. Rich in harmonic texture, through synths and acoustic instruments in repetitive movements and extended durations, Malone's music emits distinct dynamic and emotional nuances that reveal a surprising depth of focus.

Kali Malone recently formed the XKatedral label with Maria W Horn in Stockholm. She has presented her music internationally in concert halls, churches, museums and festivals in Europe and North America, including: Musica Festival (Strasbourg), Berlin Atonal, Moogfest (Durham, North Carolina), Hamburg Elbphilharmonie, Philharmonie de Paris, Radio France , Rockefeller Chapel (Chicago), Grace Cathedral (San Francisco), The Southbank Center (London) etc. He has collaborated with artists such as Stephen O'Malley, Lucy Railton, Frederikke Hoffmeier, Leila Bordreuil, Drew McDowall, Caterina Barbieri, Ellen Arkbro, etc.
