Description

A national, private television channel that broadcasts a mix of foreign and Greek shows. Introduced in 1993, Star TV is mainly identified for its production style, both in terms of programs and news content, with an expanded focus on lifestyle, showbiz, and fashion news. The channel made its worldwide appearance in 2005, on UBI World TV, making it available to viewers in Australia, Asia, and Africa. In 2013, it began blending information with entertainment and broadcasting children's programs as well as foreign series. Star Channel airs around-the-clock news, reality shows like Masterchef, national & foreign series, and several movies with premieres. Notably, the network hosts a 7-hour weekend morning animation block called "Starland".
