Athanasios Maloukos presents a large solo exhibition of Travel Photography, with subjects from countries such as Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Ethiopia, Mexico, DR Congo, Vietnam, but also places such as the Sahel, Siberia, or the Himalayas.

Remote tribes, undiscovered religions, unknown rituals, disappearing civilizations or impressive events, recorded for the first time in a unique artistic way.

"Terra Incognita"? "Places Unknown"?

The exhibition invites the viewer on a journey of discovery of the unknown aspects of human expression, offering a glimpse into the lives of people of different backgrounds, traditions and beliefs, even in the most "unknown" parts of the planet.

Athanasios Maloukos, in addition to being a Civil Engineer and a tireless traveler, is also a skilled storyteller, who with his images goes beyond the surface, to offer a rich and immersive visual experience of the incredible wealth of cultural and religious practices found around the world .

His work, through rich textures, vivid colors, evocative shading and dynamic compositions, presents the complex mosaic of human culture, beyond borders, discriminations, prejudices and stereotypes.

The exhibition presents for the first time approximately 100 large-scale photographs with museum-quality prints. Most of these photos have won top prizes in major international photography competitions.

The description of each photo is simultaneously in Greek and English. The exhibition is open daily from 10:00 am. until 10:00 p.m. There is the possibility of organized morning school visits, after consultation.
