six d.o.g.s invites the public on Monday 26 June 2023 to the official launch of The WaterStriders' debut album "My name is expectation".

The rising English-speaking Athenian band moves along the musical paths of indie rock, garage rock and indie pop, with many influences from the British guitar rock and pop of the 1980s and 1990s as well as the alternative rock scene on the other side of the Atlantic, combining melodies of post-punk of the 80s with styles of garage, surf and grunge of the American school.

The WaterStriders (Immanic-guitar/vocals, Asterios-guitar, Helias-bass, Giotis-drums) have released their first single, "Can I Settle for a Night?" via the UK's Shambotic Recordings, and in late 2022 the LP "My name is EXPECTATION" from the independent Greek record label Old Bad Habits Label and Jigsaw Records from the USA. Having recently accompanied Irishmen The Frank and Walters on stage, and fresh from their participation in the international indie pop festival Old Bad Habits, and being fully committed to their musical vision, The WaterStriders promise beautiful melodies in a rock'n'roll wrapper ! There will be many surprises this evening, off-record tracks will also be heard, while two lucky people will win the vinyl of My name is EXPECTATION.
