Night Falls in Palermo: Game Programming with Interconnected Microbits
Ages: 10-13 years old (Eth, 6th Primary & 1st High School)
In this round of four workshops we create our own team interactive game! We learn and program microbit microcontrollers to assign us random identities and roles, track votes, bluff and outwit all our teammates. In this way we come into contact with basic concepts of programming, mechatronics and classic role-playing games.

No previous experience is required to participate in the workshops.

Roblox Game Makers: Create a Video Game with Roblox Studio
Ages: 11-13 years (5th, 6th Primary & 1st High School)
In this cycle of 5 workshops we will create and program our own adventure game. Our player's goal? To reach the end of the game by overcoming all the obstacles and trials in his way.

In the exciting world of Roblox, we get in touch with programming and game design around the video games everyone loves. Guided by the design document of the game, we will learn the basic principles of game development through Roblox Studio, the software used to create Roblox games.

At the end of the series, we will have the opportunity to publish and share our games with others.

Python 1: Introduction to Python: From variables to windowed applications
Ages: 12-18 years old (1st High School - 3rd High School)
This workshop is an introduction to fundamental programming concepts and the Python programming language, a popular, accessible and highly usable language.

Participants will understand what statements, sequences, loops and logical conditions are. They will learn about and use constants, variables, and functions, create their own code, and practice problem solving. Finally, they will create fun games such as hang and word quiz, as well as window applications.

It consists of four two-hour modules and no prior programming experience is required for participation.
