Description

Protothema (D.e.f. "Lead Story"), is a weekly newspaper, published every Sunday. It originated in 2005 by the editorial/journalist team Makis Triantafyllopoulos, Themos Anastasiadis, and Tassos Karamitsos. Moreover, 2 of the 3 founders, Triantafyllopoulos and Anastasiadis, have also hosted highly acclaimed television talk shows. Notably, the newspaper has frequently achieved sales of over 200,000 issues in the comparatively small Greek newspaper market. From the beginning, it regularly headed the chart of top-selling Sunday papers. Aside from hard-hitting news, the website also has a rich database concerning videos, galleries, culture, and cooking.
