Agiou Konstantinou Street

With a strong element of economic immigrants in the areas around it, the small, sloping, one way street of Agiou Konstantinou runs from Omonoia Square to Karaiskaki Square.

The (about 500 meters long) Agiou Konstantinou Street houses one of the most important works of the 19th century architect Ernst Ziller - the National Theater of Greece.

On Agiou Konstantinou Street are the name-giving Agiou Konstantinou Church and some very pretty neoclassical buildings. Otherwise, the area, especially in the direction of Vathi Square in the evening hours to avoid, because here the crime rate is somewhat higher than the average.

On Agiou Konstantinos Street you will also find numerous cheap, sometimes rancid, hotels.
