The Archaeological Collection is located in Athens International Airports Main Terminal Building (Departures Level - Entrance 3). Here ancient finds are shown, which were found during the construction of the airport in and around the area.

The permanent exhibition of archaeological findings unearthed in Mesogaia, contains 172 archaeological relics dating from the Neolithic and Early Helladic era to the Post-Byzantine period.

Introduced in 2003, it aims to highlight the rich cultural heritage of the area. Copies of some of the most significant artifacts brought to light during the construction of Athens International Airport, can also be venerated at the front entrances of the airport - Departures Level.

This small museum inside the airport is open around the clock and without entrance fee.
