About

The program of the Goulandris Museum for International Museum Day 18 May 2023 is as follows:

• "Spring" Concert of the string orchestra De Profundis, 20.00-21.00
The De Profundis string orchestra performs works by Erlebach, Händel, Lully and Vivaldi, in a special concert that celebrates spring, the time when nature is reborn and reaches its peak.
From Erlebach's Germany to Händel's England and from Lully's France to Vivaldi's Italy, the concert program includes works from the Baroque era, alongside arias from operas inspired by mythology and the passions of gods and men. The concert closes with Vivaldi's Spring, in a literal and metaphorical approach to the time when nature awakens and man finds himself in harmony with his body and the environment.
Venue: Amphitheater of the Vassilis & Elizas Goulandris Foundation
Free of charge.
Online pre-booking required.

• Creative workshop for children from 20 months to 3 years, 18.00-18.50

The aim of the workshop is for the children to receive the corresponding stimuli to create their own stories and then try to bring them to life through a variety of recyclable materials and techniques.
