Experimental electronic producer Jlin, one of America's most distinctive composers and one of the most influential artists in electronic music, is coming to Athens on April 22, 2024, at the Ioannis Despotopoulos Amphitheater.

Jlin (Jerrilynn Patton), within a short period of time, since the beginning of her career, has managed to stand out as one of the most distinctive songwriters in America and one of the most influential artists in electronic music. Her compelling, emotional and multi-dimensional compositions have drawn positive reviews from audiences and have been praised by international media as "one of the most forward-thinking contemporary composers in any genre" (Pitchfork) and the 2023 United States Artist Award. She was nominated for the 2023 Pulitzer Prize for her mini-album "Perspectives" successfully released by Planet Mu. Her critically acclaimed albums Dark Energy (2015) and Black Origami (2017) have been featured on the "Best of" lists of The New York Times, The Wire, LA Times, Rolling Stone, The Guardian and Vogue.

Among others, Jlin has been noted for remixing major international artists including Björk, Max Richter, Martin Gore (of Depeche Mode), Galya Bisengalieva, Marie Davidson, Nina Kraviz and Ben Frost. He has collaborated with contemporary artists including William Basinski, Dope Saint Jude, Holly Herndon, Zora Jones and the iconic SOPHIE. Her next album, "Akoma" (Planet Mu), was released in March 2024 and features collaborations with Philip Glass, Bjork and Kronos.
