Akram Khan's new creation Jungle Book Reimagined is based on Rudyard Kipling's beloved story. With a sense of urgency, the great choreographer interprets the well-known story of Mowgli through the lens of today's children - those who will take over our world and become tomorrow's storytellers.

In The Jungle Book man is a mortal threat to nature. Through the eyes of a refugee caught in a world devastated by the effects of climate change, Akram Khan and his team tell a story that will help us listen not to our own but to the voices of the natural world that we, the modern people, we try to keep quiet. The work is addressed to all generations and attempts to make us remember, learn and imagine a new world together from scratch. With the help of optical technology, the stage is transformed into a magical world that dives into the myths of today.
