God Is An Astronaut will be in Athens for a best-of concert appearance on Friday, September 29 at Gagarin, as part of their "20th Anniversary Tour". This will be their first concert in Athens after 5 years, a period of time that is too long for their large domestic audience that has filled the respective venue in each of their previous appearances.

2022 finds God Is An Astronaut two decades into their career. In their long journey and through their 10 albums and many tours, they have become synonymous with post-rock and have established themselves as one of the pinnacles of that particular idiom.

God Is An Astronaut stand out because they don't stick so much to the scene's trademark (the constant alternation between quiet and loud). Instead, their way is the constant and ever-varying movement of the melody (see Tangerine Dream), but always based on romance and emotion, while at the same time their guitars and synthesizers create that famous, majestic " their "wall".

20 years after their debut "The End Of The Beginning", God Is An Astronaut remains a great band that continues to break new ground in instrumental music. At their concert in Athens, they will present material from their entire career, in a dream best-of show.
