The Technochoros art gallery presents the exhibition entitled "Family Stories" at Art Project Space. Works by artists who are all members-ancestors of Petros and Electra Dumas - Chalkousis, created from the beginning of the 20th century until today, are presented.

Petros Doumas - Halkousis initiator of the exhibition, having inherited the "artistic" genes and being influenced by the artistic environment in which he grew up, loved art from a very young age as a result of which he created the Technochoros art gallery in 2010 together with his daughter Elektra. The preparation of the exhibition "Family Stories" started several years ago and is becoming a reality at the Art Project Space. About 100 works of the family's artists have been collected and exhibited.

The artistic branch of Petros Doumas' family has its roots in Samos in the 19th century and begins with the Gini family. A family with talent in the fine arts that is scattered around the world and leaves its traces in Piraeus, Thessaloniki, Alexandria, the USA and Mexico, Ethiopia, Italy and New Zealand.

Daskalaki), Electra Chalkousis (née Georgiou Gini), Mikes Chalkousis
(husband of Elektra), Alekos Ginis (brother of Eftychias Ginis), Kostas Ginis (of Georgios), Loula Daskalakis (of Eftychias Ginis), Nick Dryden (of Loulas Daskalakis), Loretta Dryden (of Loulas Daskalakis).

The public can visit the exhibition beyond the days and times mentioned below and Sunday and Monday by telephone appointment.

On the days Thursday 14 to Saturday 16 September the gallery will remain closed as it will take part in Art Athina at Zappeio Megaro, stand R23.
