Vasilia Kaga is a queer, feminist art curator, producer and performer. Through her multidimensional work she attempts to call into question the heteronormative, normative, dominant ways of thinking and acting that have been embedded in the relations between art and the public sphere. After graduating from the Department of Communication, Media and Culture at Panteion University, during which she specialized in Cultural Management, she worked in various self-organized, mostly artistic projects in Greece, Germany and Sweden, the main objective of which was to highlight marginalized artistic perspectives. In 2017 she began to curate the Aye Mari exhibition series, an attempt to explore queer curation. He has been awarded by ARTWORKS (2020) and is a Curating Fellow of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) Artists Support Program.
