The Ilias Lalaounis Jewelry Museum presents the new thematic group exhibition of contemporary artistic creation entitled "Dressing Stories of the Revolution: Greece, the starting point of contemporary artistic creation".

31 renowned artists, 5 female trainers and 28 students of Greek public silversmithing schools participate in the exhibition.

Starting from the MKIL's historical exhibition "Form & Function, the sequence of design, 200+200", contemporary creators study the Greek Revolution, looking for their own unique interpretation in forms of jewelry and objects with traditional and modern materials and techniques.

The official opening of the exhibition will be held in the presence of Mrs. Tetis Hatzinikolaou, President of the Greek Section of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) and Mr. Petros Kalpakidis, President of the Panhellenic Federation of Silversmiths, Jewelers, and Watchsellers (POVAKO).

The exhibition is accompanied by a video production with artist interviews.

The Museum remains closed on public holidays.
