On Sunday, May 14, as part of the Piano City Athens festival, the B & E Goulandris Foundation will give the opportunity to seven young musicians to showcase their talent and reveal the magic of synesthesia by "dressing" music with colors.

In the concerts that will take place at the B&E Goulandris Foundation, there will be a combination of painting and music. Guided by studies that have assigned - based on frequencies - colors to specific tonalities, each artist will perform works by different composers from the Baroque era to the 20th century. Depending on the scale in which they are written, all works correspond to specific colors and are linked to works in the Foundation's Collection. The new soloists will create a color palette, as during the concerts the lighting will adapt to the tonality of each piece.

The goal of Piano City Athens is to bring people together through the piano. From the 12th to the 14th of May, the city turns into a huge concert hall dedicated to the piano, with many different concerts taking place in public and private spaces, changing the urban landscape.
