Argo Gallery presents the 9th solo exhibition of Raimondo Dato, a series of paintings, on the theme of horses and Aegean landscapes.

Multiplicity through simplicity is evident through the different sections of paintings presented by Raimondo Dato. Sections that differ in terms of style but that bear certain symbols as a common point. Thus the horse gallops wildly in almost all of his paintings and the artist hints at power and freedom as they are projected across the vast meadows with cloudy and menacing skies. Skies that differ from the happy and familiar Mediterranean ones.

A strong element of his works is the Aegean area, a second pole of attraction for Dato. These works are dominated by soft, low tones and a superior calm and harmony without large bursts of color.
Mykonos - Delos - Cyclades, inspire the artist through their warm sun and the marine notes of the Aegean.

It moves from abstraction to representation. Having interior decoration as his main professional subject, he finds in painting a creative companion, a creative outburst of his also creative Being. The result is that he does not commit himself to a single characteristic style of writing. Through the unimaginable landscapes and unruly ati, there is a dreamlike atmosphere, foggy and otherworldly, but at the same time full of hope and longing for life.
