About

The composer and conductor Apollon Kouskoumvekakis and the lyrical artists Tzina Foteinopoulou and Michalis Dimitrakakos present a tribute to the Greek urban song, the so-called pumou.

"Remember…"

The wonderful and timeless songs of Attik, Giannidis, Hairopoulos, Souyoul, Mouzakis and other great composers were orchestrated by Apollon Kouskoumvekakis, after a special order from ERT, for the Contemporary Music Orchestra and the two performers, who, in addition to their tenure in the lyrical theater, they have presented this particular repertoire with great success.

Favorite songs such as "How sorry I am", "Let's come for a while", "You ask me to tell you", "The last tram", "Two green eyes", "Wake up my love" will take us on a journey to the romantic Athens of the interwar period. Pairs of dancers frame the show to the rhythms of tango, bolero, charleston, fox trot. A show dedicated to the time when the world was cool, with songs that were loved and still have the power to move.
