On July 9, Rockwave hosts two of the biggest names of the domestic music scene that excel in and outside of Greece, Villagers Of Ioannina City and 1000mods.

Two bands of the younger generation, with a Greek name of origin but with an international musical character, representing the hard sound in the best way. Joining them are Sadhus, Project Renegade, Soundtruck and Ganzi Gun.

The Villagers of Ioannina City started from Ioannina in 2007 with their first album, Riza released in 2014 combining in a uniquely inspired way their progressive rock influences with traditional Greek sounds, creating their own unique sound.

1000mods is one of those bands that needs no introduction. From their very first live appearances, they managed to stand out, winning impressions. Time passed and their sound matured, with the band evolving from an underground formation into a group that has given hundreds of successful shows in Europe, America and Australia.

In the line up under Villagers Of Ioannina City and 1000mods, the prog-metal quartet Mother of Millions is added. Joining them are Sadhus, Project Renegade, Soundtruck and Ganzi Gun.
