In This Is A Good Performance, choreographer/dancer Zoi Efstathiou collaborates with Panteion University Assistant Professor of Cognitive - Experimental Psychology, Argyro Vatakis, in an attempt to answer the question: "What defines a good performance?"

The creators aim to investigate how persistent movement patterns can compose a performance and at the same time how this composition can affect the perception of time and other cognitive and emotional states of the viewer.

The performance was created during a two-month artistic residency of the choreographer at Flux Laboratory Athens, during which the "Multidisciplinary Dance" research group, following the creative process, designed an experimental project, which studies the factors that contributed to the creation and selection of performance conditions. At the same time, it will study the feeling of the passage of time for the viewer while watching the performance.

The project will be presented to the public in June 2023, in a first collaboration between Flux Laboratory Athens and the experimental multi-space of BIOS Exploring Urban Culture.
