Description

The Aigaleo Grove or "Baroutadiko" covers a vast area including schools, sports centers, cafes, the Athens Technical University and, of course, the open-air theater "Alexis Minotis". Before the land was given to the State, it was utilized by a Greek powder factory - from which the nickname "baroutadiko" came out. Finally, a book exhibition and a floral exhibition are organized every year in this area.
