Description

The "Stavros Mavrothalassitis" Stadium was named after the Mayor of the same name, who in the 1950's and 60's fought for the reformation of the Municipality. The stadium is located on Thivon Avenue at number 314 and is the home base of the Aigaleo Football Club. It was refurbished in 2006 and now has a capacity to seat 18,000 people. It is worth noting that after the renovation the stadium has gained favorable opinion and is now considered one of the most modern stadiums with natural turf in Greece.
