The goal is to bring together business professionals, stakeholders, publishers, and the media. This international festival was founded on 2017, and has been so far been housed at the Helexpo Maroussi exhibition center in Marousi, Athens.
The Athens Games Festival is organized by the Secretariat General for Media and Communication of the Hellenic Ministry of Digital Policy, Telecommunications & Media in partnership with White Night Conference, Nordic Game, and more chief industry groups.
Video game creators from Greece, Cyprus, and all around the globe assemble during these 2 days, along with worldwide game development studios, to showcase their talent and share their own digital story.
With every passing year, the Athens Games Festival organizers exceed at setting up a well-organized event with more and more happenings for visitors to enjoy. These include influential speakers from the global game industry; Closed sessions from high profile companies; local and international exhibitors; networking events (like Pitch and Match, Athens Games Festival Party, Nordic Discovery Contest in the past); and much more.
