Athens Street Food Festival

The Athens Street Food Festival was launched in 2016. It was met with great exaltation by succeeding in creating its own style and has since continued its upward course.

With over 40,000 visitors of all ages, in a comfortable 4,000 m² landscaped area, at the renovated Palio Amaksostasio of O.S.Y. at Gazi - for 3 days it offers moments of pleasure, both for the spectacle and for the taste buds! It is a wonderful trip in order to "sample the flavors of the street" with recipes from various cuisines of the world from Europe, Asia, America, and Africa.
 

Over 35 eateries and special pop-up stores of well-known chefs continuously participate in this festival - where visitors have the opportunity to enjoy their delicious creations, sweets, specially designed drinks of a very large variety ranging from cocktails to soft drinks. Renowned names like Dimitris Katsrivesis, Stefanos Stefanidis, and Dimitris Makryniotis are among the chef participants, who with the truly artistic dishes start off the festival. Some of the past restaurants in attendance include Po 'Boys, Monster Burger, Guerilla Chef, Gurun, Sweet Chimney, Mister Rolly, Loukoumades, and Kostantinidis. Additionally, during the days of the festival,  the tasteful delights being offered are accompanied by music, with selected playlists from well-known radio producers such as DJ food.

Notably, what makes a unique impression at this festival are the aromas that dominate the air and the atmosphere that raises the mood and urges you to want to sample everything! Gourmet temptations are in inexhaustible combinations and people try to taste as many recipes as possible from the colorfully original stands of the Athens Street Food Festival for a completely delicious gastronomic trip.
