European judges associations convening spring session in Athens
The European Association of Judges (EAJ) is holding its spring session in Athens on June 1-3rd, jointly organized with the Greek Association of Judges & Prosecutors (EDE), the latter had announced.
The European Association of Judges (EAJ) is holding its spring session in Athens on June 1-3rd, jointly organized with the Greek Association of Judges & Prosecutors (EDE), the latter had announced.
42 national judicial associations from as many European Union states will be represented, including Ukraine's, while representatives of judicial associations from third countries will participate as observers.
In its announcement, EDE noted that the participation of Ukrainian colleagues is expected "with particular interest," as they will provide important information "about the functioning of justice and the institutions in the midst of war."
The EAJ spring session is being held under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Justice.
