This is one of the most special, unusual female voices of today and undoubtedly the most interesting that has emerged in the wider alternative scene in recent years.
Anna B Savage (multi instrumentalist from London) released her first EP in 2015 which took her on tour with her die-hard fans Father John Misty and Jenny Hval.
The historic label City Slang offered her a contract and her debut album "A Common Turn" was released in 2021 and made the first small underground noise. This was followed by "in/Flux" (again in City Slang) released in early 2023: It was THAT voice of Anna, a beautiful vocal hybrid of a modern version of Ella Fitzgerland (she added some legendary Torch singers here) and FKA Twigs, but all told in such an authentic, personal, 2023 context.
The New York Times and Rolling Stone have already praised the 2 albums she has released so far ("A Common Turn" and "in/FLUX") while just a few days ago, Orbital chose her to sing on their new amazing single " Home".
Anna's music is like a secret being confided in front of you... About love, loss, insecurity. And finally not being afraid to be vulnerable.
