On the occasion of the release of the fourth album "Fjære" and the upcoming release of the new collaboration with Dimitris Vassilakis, the Espen Berg trio comes from Norway to the Half Note Jazz Club, as part of their European tour, for a unique performance on Thursday 9 November.

Espen Berg's melodic and rhythmically complex music serves as the basis for the trio's dynamic and idiosyncratic interplay with Dimitris Vassilakis's spontaneous saxophone prose.

Dimitris Vassilakis with an international career, an award-winning discography from the BBC on Candid Records, presentations at Birdland, Dizzy's Club – Jazz at the Lincoln Center, Yale, Smithsonian, United Nations, Ronnie Scott's – London Jazz Festival, collaborates with the trio from in 2019 and their new recording "Daedalus Project – Persephone" will be released in 2024 on Candid Records.

Espen Berg is an international award-winning pianist. In 2016 he received Norway's biggest music award, "JazZtipendiate", at the Molde Jazz Festival. It is a member of the Norwegian Jazz Startup Program in 2018 and the Espen Berg Trio was appointed as an official NTNU ambassador at the Trondheim Jazzfestival in 2016.
