The Michalis Kakogiannis Foundation has the honor of presenting for the 2nd time the Exhibition of works by Michalis Michail, one of the most important comics creators and visual artists of the 80s.

Michalis Michail, living, acting and creating alone in the crowd, expressed with disarming honesty such personal feelings that every viewer or reader meets himself in his works.

He took us and takes us again through the electric modern city using even color to show its darkness. Always through contrasts, bipolars in a fragile balance: The phantasmagoria and the decline, the abandonment. Tenderness and violence. The light and the dark. The noise and the silence. Passion, ecstasy and deprivation.

-He introduced us to the heroes and anti-heroes of the streets, the aggressors and the victims, whom he respected and treated with exactly the same measure of value.

-Introduced to us through Steve Briza's "bipolar" hero. A modern paper hero, a spider-man who used the city's electrical wiring as his web. A lonely hero who wanted to connect with everyone and that's why he entered the electricity grid.

Michalis Michael gave flesh and bones to the ghosts of the technocratic, dispossessed ideology of his time and beyond. She recorded her mysteries choosing to leave all questions unanswered. And making his own "cease of existence" (loan-word from the graffiti he loved so much, in the neighborhood of Exarchia) he left us alone with the project in his thirties..
