The Numismatic Museum participating again this year in the celebration of
European Days of Cultural Heritage organizes a periodic exhibition with works by the Visual Artist of Contemporary Art, professor Ioannis Galanopoulos entitled: "Landscapes of Expatriation. Home-Without Home".

The homes of Ilios Melathros host seven creations of the artist inspired by the experience of expatriation as a form of human mobility and displacement. These are original photographic works related to place, expatriation and the identity of the expatriate citizen.

The General Coordination and Curator of the exhibition is Doctor of Art History Georgios Kakavas, Director of the Numismatic Museum.

The Museum employees participate in the working group:
Eleni Naki, Museologist, Meni Bideris, Graphic Designer and Nikolaos Sougles in electronic support.

The opening of the exhibition will take place on 29/9/2023 at 12:00, in Ilio Melathron.
