The Historical Archive - Museum of Hydra always presents the work of important foreign artists who live in Hydra. In this context, this summer it hosts the artist Natacha Best, who in her works presents the Hydra of light and colors.

Natacha has exhibited for over forty years in France, Spain and Greece. In 2003, she started to operate her own gallery in Hydra every summer. Since 2006, he is Vice President of the Verena Foundation in Hydra. She lives and works in Paris and Hydra, dividing her time equally between the two.

The landscapes, especially the architecture, of the countries she has traveled to have captured her passion and imagination. Her recent watercolors of the Greek islands and especially of Hydra meticulously capture the detail and spirit of Greece. Mediterranean light and shadow are reflected in a special way in her work. Natacha's emotional balance is found in her imaginative pastel portraits of women.
