Release Athens started in 2016 and since then has been one of the most important summer music events in Athens, but also in the whole of Greece, with the main venue being Water Square, a wonderful place located next to the sea and at the same time a few minutes away from the center of city.

The aim of the festival is to satisfy as many musical tastes as possible, without restrictions and tightly. Our purpose is to offer the Hellenic - and not only - public the opportunity to enjoy excellent shows of high standards safely and comfortably, creating musical memories for a lifetime in everyone's mind.

This year the Release Festival will host among others:

• Madrugada on 25/06/2023. Joining them is Baxter Dury.
• Disturbed on 06/26/2023. They are joined by the Nova Twins.
• Parkway Drive on 06/27/2023. They are joined by Max Cavalera and Triptykon.
• Amon Amarth and Kreator on 06/28/2023. They are joined by Heaven Shall Burn and Bleed From Within.
• Stereo Nova on 07/15/2023.
