One of the most popular post-rock bands on the planet, the Icelandic Sigur Rós, tour with an orchestra and come to the Herodes Atticus Conservatory to captivate the festival audience with their atmospheric soundscapes.

Sigur Rós at Oden of Herodes Atticus

Their long hypnotic compositions, although sung entirely in Icelandic or with no lyrics at all, manage to speak a universal musical language. Their entire discography, spearheaded by the most classic tracks "Starálfur", "Olsen Olsen", "Svefn-g-englar", enjoys unprecedented acceptance by audiences and critics, while at the same time being a source of inspiration for a crowd for at least two decades post-rock bands worldwide.
