SNF Nostos, the established summer open event organized by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) and featuring discussions, speeches, music, artistic and entertainment activities for all, renews its appointment with the public for June 21, 22 and 23, 2023 , at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC).

After the successful conduct of SNF Nostos Health 2022, health remains at the center of attention, but this time turning its attention to the major issue: mental health. Taking care of mental health is a fundamental human demand, especially for young people. It is time to speak openly and at all levels about mental health and the stigma of mental illness.

Guided by and believing in dialogue, SNF Nostos 2023 begins but at the same time continues its action from where it ended in June 2022. The SNF initiative for open dialogue with the public, SNF Dialogues, coordinated and edited by Anna-Kynthia Bousdoukou, will give the trigger for the start of discussions on mental health.

With a desire to escape from the superficial analysis of the issue and aim to delve into the research, the data, the opinions of experts from all over the world and also to present the development of science in the field of mental health, the SNF Nostos Conference 2023 (registration has started ) will examine a number of parameters in order to contribute to a better treatment of an issue that concerns all of us and especially the new generation. With the valuable participation of the journalistic non-profit organization iMEdD (incubator for Media Education and Development) and the participation of young people from all over the world, the issue of mental health will be examined globally, subversively and always human-oriented and centered. At the same time, the action of the International Initiative for Health of the SNF in the field of mental health is an important source of content at a scientific and research level that will bring to the discussion valid information, new data and in-depth observations that may be heard for the first time in an open event of such magnitude.

At this year's SNF Nostos Conference, Barack Obama is also participating where he will discuss ways to strengthen democratic culture and the importance of supporting the next generation of leaders together with SNF President Andreas Drakopoulos.

But SNF Nostos doesn't stop there. Parallel actions, artistic program, interactive experiences and of course the established SNF Nostos Run on June 23rd, implemented with the cooperation of AMKE Anagennisi & Proodos, will enrich the days of the festival and offer strong emotions to young and old.
