The group of girls from Georgia who have caused a sensation in the music audience around the world with their voices and compositions is coming on June 14th for the first time in Greece.
Traditional Georgian polyphony, performed by three girls who one day decided to go for a walk in their village singing. They captured it in a selfie video, it was uploaded to YouTube and within a few days it has gathered millions of views.
Their popularity grew at an explosive rate and suddenly changed the girls' lives with constant tours around the world, participation in traditional music festivals and frequent appearances on radio and television shows. The band's name was not chosen by chance, since according to the tradition of their place, women would throw a handkerchief on the ground in an attempt to reconcile men when they quarreled. Trio Mandili have already released two records, "With Love" and "Enguro", with their lyrical compositions revealing the unique spirit of the amazing beauty of their land and the warmth of the soul of the Georgian people.
