The famous Vienna Mozart Orchestra is coming for the third year again for a festive New Year's concert in the flower-decorated hall of the Christmas Theater!

The skilled musicians of the Orchestra present a journey transporting the Athenian audience to 18th century Vienna, performing some of the best known and most loved works of Mozart and Strauss. The orchestra is also famous for its costumes as its musicians are dressed in authentic period clothes and wigs. With the orchestra, sopranos from the Vienna Opera will also appear in well-known and beloved arias, to give us wonderful moments and take us on a journey through the magical atmosphere of Vienna.

The Vienna Mozart Orchestra is one of the most important musical ensembles in Austria. Its uniqueness lies on the one hand in the musical quality that distinguishes it, since some of the best musicians of the Vienna Philharmonic collaborate with it, but also in the atmosphere created by the period costumes and wigs combined with the artistic enthusiasm and skill of the musicians.

The concerts of the Vienna Mozart Orchestra take place in the largest and most famous concert halls in Vienna, namely the Golden Hall of the Musikverein, the Wiener Konzerthaus and the Great Hall of the Hofburg (Imperial Palace).

The Orchestra's fifty virtuoso musicians will begin their musical journey by transporting the Athenian audience to 18th century Vienna, performing some of Mozart's best-known and best-loved works in authentic period costumes and wigs. Mozart will be followed by the well-known waltzes and polkas of the Strauss family to seduce us into a romantic and dreamy whirlwind. The Beautiful Blue Danube, the Imperial Waltz, the Introduction of the Bat, the famous Radetzky Entry are just some of the masterpieces that will be performed by the authorities of the Viennese musical idiom...
