Greek Tourism Police

Τhe Tourist Police Department is located at Klafthmonos Square. It is a cooperation of 3 institutions: The Μinistry of Citizen Protection, the Ministry of Interior and Administrative Reconstruction and the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels.

The operation of the Οffice for Athens Tourist Services, is attached to the Tourist Police. Its aim is to amplify the flow of tourism in Athens by providing direct and efficient instructions for tourist matters as well as broader city police affairs.

The operation of the office is to effectively respond and manage all the incidents that occur, like loss of official papers and other objects, cases of robbery, issue of various confirmations, etc.. The Tourist Office is recruited with proffesionally trained billingual personnel and it is οperating in daily basis, for the whole year.
