The Kapopoulos Fine Arts gallery presents the works created during the last five years by its partner and important representative of Greek surrealism, Theodoros Pantaleon in the exhibition entitled "Theodoros Pantaleon, dialogue of dreams with Salvador Dali".

Pantaleon impressively developing his personal style, presents a series of works in which magical beings, peculiar objects or exotic fruits and ghosts of his youth become here the guardian angels of a very personal paradise. These are works that the artist created during the difficult years of crisis and confinement, as a way out for both him and his viewers, into light, magic and dreams. It is commonplace, and it has been emphasized by various scholars of Pantaleon's painting, that Dali's creative influence on his work is constant and recurring. It is therefore a happy coincidence of the coexistence of six historical sculptures of the great Spanish master with the last works of the Greek virtuoso. These are subjects that Dali painted for the first time since the 30s, when he was under the direct influence of his friends Buñuel and Lorca, which much later in the 70s he transferred to three dimensions as sculptures, which was also done by other surrealists such as Marx Ernst and Giorgio De Chirico. More specifically, the sculptures "The Dance or the Face of Time", the "Persistence of Memory", the "Melted Clocks", or the "Surreal Piano", were first cast as multiples as early as 1984.
Magical realism, painting the fantastic and images of the dream coexist in dialogue.

At the same time, the gallery will present the luxurious album of Kastaniotis publications entitled "Theodoros Pantaleon, 60 years of painting".
