shesaid.so Athens and the HER Project aspire to highlight the importance of communities and (creative) hubs, but also the importance of coexistence, cooperation and support – one "voice" can start a revolution, many together can change the world.

Going back and leaning on history, the basis of the LGBTQIA+ movement, but also on the fact that actions and visibility should not be limited to Pride Month, small, or larger groups/communities of people seal every day with their initiatives that the fight for a inclusive society happens 365 days a year.
With these as a starting point, shesaid.so Athens and HER Project co-exist with Human Cast and discuss LGBTQIA+ representation in the Arts.
What defines a work of art as LGBTQIA+? From books, plays, film, TV shows/series, visual arts and comics we decode the core of queer representation. Queer art and artistic expression openly portrays queerness, contributes to the fight for equal rights, and/or is created by LGBTQIA+ artists. They explore issues (and conflicts) of queer identity and social justice or injustice, and often provoke and promote activism, sparking debate.
We talk briefly about the history of queer art in Greece, its local peculiarities and focus on the very important, optimistic development observed over the years.
