The cultural platform Beyond presents for the first time to the Athenian audience, on Saturday, August 26, the Italians Nu Genea (DJ set + Live keys), one of the most interesting musical surprises in recent years, at a global level.

Nu Genea is the artistic creation of Neapolitan musicians and DJs Massimo Di Lena and Lucio Aquilina. Their inspiration comes from a historiographical investigation of dance music from its earliest steps, following musical routes from around the world and collecting the sounds that over the centuries have influenced the shores of their city, an inexhaustible source of cross-cultural sensitivity and interaction.

Their approach to music stands out for discovering unexplored fields, tracing the past and performing an original dance equation, which is infused with disco, funk, boogie, electronica, dub, folk and more, making the live shows as well as the Their DJ set is something unique. This particular evening will inaugurate a series of events entitled 'Mediterranean Soundwaves', presenting a hybrid DJ set with live keyboards, an ode to the funky and "wicked" sound of the Mediterranean.
